Thats enough introduction - on with the plants!

The sun has shone all week. As usual, plants have dried out faster than it has been possible to water
but the work I put into the watering system earlier in the year is paying off, so it hasn't been a catastrophe
more of a distraction.
Work on the Hedychium house finally came to a conclusion on Friday (except for doors and windows) and on saturday I started to move the plants in. How is it that I can take half of the plants from the old greenhouse, put them in the new, and have two greenhouses full of plants? Looking forward to getting back into the garden next week - I half mowed the grass in the orchard a month ago and it needs cutting down again. Daffodils to plant (I'm just greedy). Herbaceous border needs weeding so there is plenty to do if the evening light holds out. Autumn is knocking at the garden gate and sooner or later I will have to admit it, but for the moment lets just think of it as high summer!
To find particular groups of plants I grow, click on the genus name in the table above. Click on the "Index" box at the top of the page for the full list.
I have a lot of good intentions when it comes to updating this site, and I try to keep a note about what is going on, if you are interested.
