A superb little South African bulb from the Western Cape that is more or less hardy, but best in a pot under cover because it dislikes excessive winter wet.
An excellent little plant, it is undoubtedly the hardiest of the Lachenalia species and clumps up well
to make a striking show. On the minus side it flowers so late in the year, often not appearing until early summer,
that it is easily lost in the floral excess of the season.
