A summer growing Nerine found only in a small region of the Eastern Cape near Cathcart.
Slightly taller and slightly larger in flower than my plants of N. filifolia, I realised some years
ago that I would not be able to distinguish them if they became mixed and while researching the botanical differences
discovered that there aren't any, and N. filamentosa has recently been sunk into N.filifolia.
However - I have spent so much care in keeping them apart that I am going to continue for a little while with no
justification but because I find it rather soothing.
