A wonderful tiny little plant that I have been growing since the '80s. Compact clumps of leaves produce short scapes of blue flowers.

Originally selected from seedlings of A. praecox ssp. minimus at Oakhurst Gardens in California in 1949
there have been suggestions that it has been raised from seed subsequently and there is some variability in clones bearing the name.
