Agave americana var. protoamericana 'Lemon Lime'

A variegated cultivar with a lime green stripe along the centre of the leaf. It had been known in cultivation in California for some time before it was given a name by
Brian Kemble at the Ruth Bancroft Garden.
I was given a small offset that has grown well in the Agave house. It came through a harsh winter as a young plant so I hope it will prove durable.
