Agave flexispina

A species from the mountains of the Sierra Madre Occidental in Chihuahua, Durango and Zacatecas in Mexico where it grows in oak woods and grassland.
It is moderately compact and produces offsets. It is reported to be very tolerant of drought and cold, all of which make it a perfect candidate for the Agave house.
Shortly after this photo was taken I planted it out.
