Agave guadalajarana
1st March 2015
A small growing species with stout rosettes of broad leaves from the states of Jalisco and Nayarit in Mexico. Originally described in 1920 by Trelease
from plants growing around the city of Guadalajara. Similar in appearance to A. potatorum var. verschaffeltii but I'm hoping it will be hardier.
Mine was raised from seed in 2013 and has grown faster than I expected.
