A widespread and wide spreading species from Mexico and southwest Texas, where it experiences significant cold
during the winter. As it matures the leaves develop distinct kinks along their length. Over the years I have grown the same thing
under the names A.poselgeri, A.univittata, A.lophantha, A.heteracantha and a number of combinations
of the same. Those who name Agave inhabit a complex and unstable world.
