A fabulous small compact species from elevations up to 2,480m in limestone mountaiuns in southeastern Coahuila, Mexico.
Cold tolerant and distinctive, I have been nurturing a couple of seedlings but I also have a larger plant that I bought in a moment of impatience.
A real beauty flowered at Kew this summer and I'm very happy to be a bit closer to achieving that. The Kew plant was even small enough to fit under the Agave house roof
when in flower, which would be very convenient.
