Agave titanota
24th October 2015
A compact rosetted plant with broad leavs that carry large triangular teeth. It occurs only in the extreme south of Mexica, at Rancho Tambor.
There is no reason to expect it to be particularly hardy and I have avoided trying it for many years, but babies are so cute, eventually I succumbed.
21st April 2016
No sooner had I fallen for the charms of the species than I was given this more mature specimen that, like a Christmas puppy,
had grown too large and stopped being so cute. (Never buy a puppy for Christmas).
6th February 2018
It had been stunted in the pot previously but it is now starting to grow away.
