Agave zebra

A large spiky species from a tiny area south of Caborca in Sonora, Mexico. As it grows the leaves become distinctively striped
but I have yet to get one large enough. Gentry says 'If overwatered in the garden it becomes rather monsterous.'
I can hope.

It has grown well in the Agave house and has started to hint at striped leaves, although when I am feeling cynical I wonder if it is mildew
on the surface.
