Allium neriniflorum
Archive entry 23.09.12

A species from Central Asian meadows. It has been easy here in a pot and I have been assured that it will prosper outside.
Originally named Caloscordon which means 'beautiful garlic' the name is probably no longer needed - the five species in the genus
have recently been re-absorbed into Allium.
