Aloe striatula
31st January 2008
My plant is a sad little thing that sulks in a pot waiting for a suitable location outside. It is hardy, and tolerates winter wet quite well,
but somehow I haven't made space for it yet in the garden.
This one was photographed in Falmouth, where it makes a spectacular succulent clump.

The species comes from the Eastern Cape and Lesotho. Thought to be the hardiest species in the genus, after a few harsh winters people have started to plant it outside again,
and I should follow their example.
