Aloe succotrina
3rd March 2018
One of those unfortunate plants whose presence in the collection will only be recorded through its demise. I have had it for several years,
having been given a seedling. It has grown slowly and been entirely unremarkable. I have glanced at it affectionately from time to time
but I don't seem to have bothered to take any pictures except this one recording its intolerance of a severe freeze.
A native of South Africa where it grows on the Cape Peninsula in the area immediately surrounding Cape Town.
