Aloe suprafoliata
1st March 2015
A tough species from North-eastern South Africa and Swaziland. As a young plant the leaves grow stacked on eachother in two ranks but as the plant
matures it develops a more typical rounded rosette. Mine seems to have bypassed the juvenile distichous perfection in favour of a more rounded approach,
which raises a questioin about its identity that I will overlook for the moment.
Mine was a small seedling two years ago in a two inch pot, and now it fills a fifteen litre bucket so there is something about the Agave house that it likes.
