I am trying this out this year. I hope that it will be a large, lush, tolerant plant. With all of the Alocasias the big test is how they withstand the winter.
A group of plants at a local nursery. It has come through the winter well and looks like it might be a useful plant given some winter protection.
Another winter safely negotiated. It isn't as lush as I might have hoped, but it has had some exotic moments,
and if I fed and watered it more it might have grown a lot larger.
