Anemone hupehensis var japonica 'Prinz Heinrich'
2nd October 2011
This is a very striking colour, raised by Lindner in Germany in 1902. The herbaceous border is filled with Hemerocallis
and various Iris relatives so there is a danger that it will become green and restful at the end of the season, to
the point of unconsciousness. This is part of my attempt to add verve and brio the last months of the year
without having to resort to cafeine or electric shocks.
