Anemone nemorosa 'Bill Bakers Pink'
8th April 2007
Discovered by Bill Baker in a wood near Pangbourne. Said to be a good deep pink form, although the pinks are notoriously erratic in colour. This plant is obviously
wrongly named - I won't mention the source, to spare their blushes, though to be honest, a bit more blushing here would be closer the mark. Meantime, I am still trying
to track down the real thing.

I may have judged it a littkle unfairly. It has been almost pink this year, it could almost be the one that Bill Baker found.
