In a whimsical moment I decided that I could improved the Hellebore border by planting some herbaceous
Anemone for late summer. I put in half a dozen young plants and left them to see what would happen.
They have produced flowers, but the timing is not good. Just as they are flowering I am trying to get onto the bed to weed
and cut back excess foliage so that the Hellebore flowers will show in the spring. I am not going to plant
any more, and I assume these will die out eventually but I am happy to enjoy them until then.
