Arthropodium candidum 'Little Lila'
25th August 2016
Experience has taught me that Arthropodium are not as hardy as they are stylish and delightful. A variegated form seems even less likely to succeed
but unfortunately it is too lovely to walk away without trying.
As far as I have been able to discover it originated at a micropropagation facility in Poland. My intention was to split a small piece off and keep it indoors
this winter but I just haven't got there yet so the whole thing may have to come in.
The foliage looks like a really special Chlorophytum and I may have to think along those lines and keep it on a windowsill.
