Asphodelus ramosus

A European species of Asphodel (it also stretches into North Africa) with large spikes of white flowers in early summer. The seed for this plant
was collected in Crete. I am keeping it dry in the greenhouse for now, though I grew a stock from Beth Chatto that prospered for many years in the front garden.
