Astilbe 'Amethyst'
8th July 2012
After many years of growing it I seem to have lost my plant. I have rummaged around under shrubs and behind bushes
hoping to find a straggling stem or two but so far nothing.
One quiet day I will be digging around under a tree and I will turn up a knobbly wooden tump
and pounce on it with glee. I will plant it in the border and it will sprout into the lost 'Amethyst'.
Astilbe are resilient things.
In the meantime I have bought another.
