Astilbe 'Beauty of Lisse' COLORFLASH LIME

I am always interested in something new, and sometimes seems to have had the novelty thoroughly exhausted, so 'Beauty of Lisse'
is an exciting introduction. Raised by Henk Holtmaat in the Netherlands as part of his program to develop fast growing cultivars with attractive foliage and flowers.
Among the seedlings of mixed parentage, he found one with pale lime green foliage. It seems to be vigorous and makes a bright splash in the garden in spring,
seeming to get darker by mid-summer.
