Asarum canadense
A vigorous deciduous species from the eastern coastal states of North America. Large pale green
foliage expands rapidy in spring. The small brownish hairy flowers are best displayed when the
plant is growing in a pot. When growing in the ground, the flowers are obscured by the lush leaves.
It seems to be tolerant of a range of growing conditions.
Good foliage in rapidly expanding clumps.
