Asarum magnificum




A vigorous Chinese species that makes a good garden plant for a shaded location. There is a lot of variation in the foliage. This one came from Long Acre Plants . The rounded leaves have silvery veins and are striking throughout the year.

This plant came from KobaKoba , and has bold green leaves that make an impressive show.

I was a bit worried about the Kobakoba plant - it seemed wrong with its big vigorous green leaves, but the flowers have turned out right, so I can relax again.
