Beautiful white margined variegated leaves, which naturally I don't have a photo of!
Showy fragrant flowers would make a great bouquet or spectacular flower arrangement , unfortunately
Aspidistra's don't produce anything like that. Tiny bloodthirsty man-traps for pixies or
fairies produced at ground level during spring.
Originally obtained as a variegated form of A.lurida, but the flower shows it is A.elatior.
This is the first time I have had a berry form after the flower, so it will be interesting to see how it develops.
This is the berry when I decided it had clearly ripened, and I have collected the seed and am trying to germinate it.
