A small,slow growing Japanese cultivar. The leaves are variably striped with white.
The name means 'select'.
It has remained a good dwarf form as it has slowly filled a small pot.
Originally listed as a form of A.lurida, I have no doubt that it is a form of A.elatior, though
I haven't yet had flowers to confirm the identity.
