A very pretty, tiny species that came from Clive Shilton at
Hardy Exotics.
It was originally a collection from Edward Needham. Rhizomes divide freely and the plant spreads rapidly into a compact clump.
This would seem to be a formm of Aspidistra zongbayi. Last year I divided it and planted half
outside, where it has prospered.
