Low growing with broad leaves heavily marked with large yellowish spots.
It was distributed originally from Glasnevin Botanic Gardens. This was the only Aspidistra
to suffer cold damage to the leaves during last winter, though it has recovered now.
This is the only form of A.lurida that I have that is not actually A.elatior, the foliage is quite distinctive, but without
flowers it is too early to confirm that it is A.lurida.
