A fabulous blue leaved Berberis, it took a few years to fatten up from its gangling youth, but it is now developing a pleasing rounded shape. Large yellow flowers are a matter of no importance. Famously difficult to root from cuttings, this one went in 20 years ago when I needed somewhere to put it in a hurry, and I wish I had taken more trouble over the position. I haven't managed to root another one, I'm not prepared to be without it, and it is in the way.(like, seriously, dude!) (oh, quick, somebody slap me, I've gone all colloquial.)

Well, I moved it, killed it, bought another one. This is it, back to the gangling youth stage.
