12th October 2008
A green leaved collection of the Hollyhock Begonia (flowers form in the leaf axils of the upright stems).
It remains to be seen quite how tolerant it is of low temperatures.
12th October 2008
It produces tiny bulbils from the upper leaf nodes, and I am hoping that even if the main plant struggles through the winter, the bulbils can be saved
and started into growth next year.
14th September 2009
This one has survived the winter in a cold greenhouse, though plants brought into the conservatory were faster into growth.
