Begonia grandis 'Sapporo'

A recently introduced form of the species. Michael Wickenden found it in Sapporo, the capital of Hokkaido, Japan.
It is said to be the hardiest of the selections of the species. It has thicker leaves and more vigorous upright stems than any other form I grow
and has flowered throughout summer and autumn.
