Begonia grandis 'Snowpop'
29th September 2016
A new selection of Begonia grandis with pure white flowers. I haven't tried it in the garden yet (I took this picture the day it arrived).
Introduced by PanGlobal Plants. Their description reads:
"A new white flowered form of this hardy Begonia species named here at Pan Global'. The subsp. sinensis has smaller, prettier leaves than the
commoner subsp. evansiana and in this form they have particularly attractive red veining underneath. Masses of small white flowers in late
summer/early autumn above the leaves. For semi shade in humusy soil. 45cm."
