Begonia 'Inca Fire'
I am not aware of any other group of plants that can give this sort of leaf colour.
This is vigorous outside during summer. Stagnant moist air in a greenhouse will encourage fungal damage to
the leaves. The pinkish white flowers pass without note. Plant it with pot marigolds and scare yourself
silly!
If I am sometimes a little hard on the duller Begonias it is because the genus is capable of the
most astonishing excesses, and I always feel a little cheated by the species and cultivars that set their
sights lower.
