A recent introduction from Arunachal Pradesh in the north east of India. Glossy green leaves from long thin rhizomes.
Hardier than the silver splashed cultivar 'Mishmi Silver' which seems to be the same species.

Unfortunately, although it was growing strongly, the first blast from the Beast-from-the-East froze it through and it never recovered.
