I bought it in flower, but I thought it was worth showing. This one was collected under number LB300.

This is the subspecies from the eastern mediterranean (mostly Turkey). It is rather difficult to
identify the subspecies reliably. Those that I have seen with confident labels (not that it means
anything) have smaller strap shaped spathes than usual (but that might just be chance).
