A tall growing tough Billbergia. I have been growing it since 1980, and during that time
it has tolerated long periods of neglect, and short periods of frost. Flowers quite freely.
It is like an old friend that sits in an armchair in the corner drinking coffee and says kind
and appreciative things when you make them untidy sandwiches!
