Blechnum magellanicum
27th November 2008
There are a great many Blechnum species that I covet for the garden, but they can be slow to grow and are consequently rather expensive. I was delighted to
run into this one and hope it will prosper. Many of the species hover on the fringes of Tree-ferniness, producing short trunks in time.
30th August 2008
I was surprised to run into it in the greenhouse at Wisley. From the size of the trunks, these ones must be quite old, and I can only hope that mine
makes it to this size eventually.

I have killed it, the Blechnum is dead, long live the Blechnum. If in doubt, have another go.
