Blechnum tabulare

A South African fern from Table Mountain (hence the name) and most of sub-Saharan Africa. It will eventually form a short trunk and is the hardiest of the "trunking" Blechnum.
The genus Blechnum has recently been split and this may eventually be accepted as Lomariocycas tabulare.
My plant is currently rather unhappy in the greenhouse and should be planted out. in a moist position it might demoinstrate the ability to produce short runners from the main stem
and form a dense colony.
