Brachyglottis 'Silver Waves'
5th July 2014
I live on the side of a hill, where the wind can blow with enthusiasm. Over the years I have ameliorated its influence by planting trees
and the site is now more shaded. However I am still drawn to those plants that will do well in bright, exposed conditions.
Brachyglottis contains a number of greyish/woolly leaved species that are lovely in detail and occasionally a little dull
en masse. When all is said and done, it is difficult to resist a new one and especially so when it was raised by Graham Hutchins at
County Park Nursery. Supposed to be more compact than other hybrids.
