Calathea rufibarba 'Tropistar'

Every now and then I get the urge to grow the Marantaceae again (and to go a little more tropical than the delightful Thalia). So far I have always managed to demonstrate
conclusively that they will not tolerate cold. This pretty little Calathea prospered until the nights started to grow cold in the conservatory, at which point it turned up its
toes and is no more!
