Calopogon tuberosus Red

I haven't yet worked out how to grow Calopogon. I am told it is reasonably easy so I am doing something
stupid. When I saw a bulb of the red form offered at a show I couldn't resist another try.
Unfortunately the passage of time revealed that I am still doing something stupid (whatever it might be).
This sprouting tuber is the best it managed.
