Caryopteris x clandonensis 'Worcester Gold'

Caryopteris are plants of warm dry climates so they are unlikely to do well with me. I keep trying new locations
in the hope that I can get a decent display but I haven't really cracked it yet.
It has survived for a couple of years now and I am getting some amusement from the struggle to please it. A yellow leaved plant with blue flowers
should be magnificent, but it isn't particulatly yellow and the flowers are only blue in the minds of horticultural writers.
