Caryota mitis

Every now and then I get a little carried away with the idea of a palm filled garden. It doesn't usually last for long,
but it causes strange things to happen, and this little pot seedlings is one of them. They have all been split up now, and
are growing down among the Hedychium in the hope that one day they will be big enough to try outside. It is a Caryota
and it may well be the Caryota mitis it was bought as, but I don't claim to know enough to confirm that.

This is the plant growing outside in Fox Rosehill Gardens in Falmouth, so it might survive here!
