Cedrus deodara
19th June 2011
I planted this when I first moved to this garden, and because it looked rather exposed on its own, I planted
a row of Leyland Cypress with it, to act as a windbreak in the early years. The idea was that I would remove
them as they started to get in the way. It was a good idea. Never trust good ideas.
I still need to remove some of the Leylands so that the Cedar has some space to grow but it is going to leave
a gap that the wind will whistle through. As a result, I continue to prevaricate, which has been the problem all along.
