Chlorophytum comosum 'Variegatum'
17th September 2005
Chlorophytum comosum 'Variegatum' is the commonest of the white margined
cultivars. It is vigorous, broad leaved and tolerant, with a tendancy to be floppy
in low light situations. There is a cheerful bright buttery tone to the green, and
a yellow tint to the white portion of the leaves. All of the white margined forms
have green flower stems.
