Clematis montana 'Spooneri'

'Spooneri' grows on the front of the house, and looks magnificent against the grey granite, but it does tend to grow over the windows and get tangled up in the telephone wires.
Last year it was cut back rather savagely while I decide how far I want it to roam. Large rounded white flowers cover the scrambling stems in June.
