Clivia miniata 'Painted Face Daruma'
7th December 2008
The Chinese have been developing a number of variations on the broad leaved 'Daruma' strains. One of the early forms was the 'Painted Face Daruma'
in which there is a yellowish tone to the leaf between the green leaf veins. The best forms have yellowish leaves with a network of green veins,
but for the most part the leaves are slightly mottled with yellow. They often look like they need a good feed. This plant has a really good shape,
but the leaves are not very strongly marked with yellow.
