A large growing form of Clivia gardenii has been kbnown for many years, from patches of marshy ground among trees in Pondoland.
Genetic studies in New Zealand have recently revealed that this is an unrecognised new species of Clivia that has been named
C. robusta. I have a seedling obtained as C. gardenii Maxima Group which I am almost certain belongs here.
