There is an unspeakable excitement that comes from seeing a new plant. Keith Wiley grew this from seed and I bought one to satisfy my curiosity - neither of us knew what to expect.
The Flora of China reveals that it comes from between 1200m and 2400m in the mountains of Guizhou and Shaanxi and Sichuan and that the flowers can be white or yellow. Im my plant the flowers open
chrome yellow and then fade to a shade closer to primrose.
